TSS, a semiconductor discharge tube, is a component with semiconductor characteristics made of Si material based on a diffusion process, which similar to the silicon controlled rectifier with PNPN structure. The resistance value of this type of component changes between mega ohm level and ohm level according to the change of the voltage value loaded across it, and the resistance value can complete the transition in nanosecond time. TSS are mostly connected in parallel in the system circuit to prevent overvoltage from damaging other components at the back end, thereby greatly improve the EMS performance of the system, which can effectively suppress electromagnetic interference such as Surge, EFT and ESD. It is widely used in DSL, security, industrial control, analog video signal, telephone, fax, LED and other products.
The semiconductor discharge tubes produced by our company have various appearances such as patch and plug-in. It is packaged in SOT23-5, SMA, SMB, SOIC-8, DO-15, TO-92 and other forms, which can meet ITU K.20, K.21 and K.45, GR1089, FCC PART68, IEC60950, GB17626.5 and other communication standards.
